Hey everyone first/last tags for 2017/2018 will be held on January 27th at Edora Park. This is purely a tag match for $5 plus $20 for new tags. The round will start at noon and is one round only. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Tag Design Contest 2018
We’re gearing up for next season and that means it’s time to come up with a new tag design. Have a great idea for next year’s tags? If so, submit it before the end of November as part of our tag design contest. If the Board chooses your idea you’ll get your 2018 NoCo membership fee covered plus a free entry to the NoCo event of your choice!
Submit your graphic in production quality (or as close as possible) by sending it to info@nocodiscgolf.com. The final design should incorporate the club name (“NoCo Disc Golf”), the year (“2018”) and enough space for up to a three-digit number. The tags are normally about the size of a large keychain. If you come up with something creative that doesn’t adhere to these guidelines we’ll still consider it, so don’t hesitate to send it in.

Thursday Doubles is on the move
Northern Colorado Disc Golf will be hosting a Pro/Am random draw doubles league on Thursdays From May – September.
The venue will be changing each week this year as we will be incorporating more courses in the NoCo area. We will post the schedule both on <a href=”https://www.discgolfscene.com/leagues/Northern_Colorado_Doubles_Thursday_2017″ target=”_blank”>DiscGolfScene.com</a> and on our <a href=”https://www.facebook.com/nocodiscgolf/” target=”_blank”>Facebook Page.</a>
Cost is $5 with an optional progressive ace fund. $1 will pay out 40% and 2$ will pay out 80% of the ace fund allowing it to grow over the summer (no ace fund at CLP.) Registration will open 20 minutes before the start time. Start times are listed on the schedule.

Interested in being a part of the continued growth and development of disc golf in Northern Colorado? Then join us on the NoCo Disc Golf Board of Directors! Nominations are open as of today and will be accepted via email until October 30th. Email ballots will go out Oct 31st and polls close at midnight Nov 6th. To indicate your intention to run, send an email to elections@nocodiscgolf.com with a short blurb (150 words or less) about why you’d be great for the leadership team and we’ll add you to the ballot.
As has been our process for a few years now, we will continue to elect board members “at large” (independent of their eventual role) then allow the newly-elected board to determine as a group the most suitable roles for each individual (ie. president, vice president, treasurer, etc).
As disc golf continues its rapid expansion, each year holds new and exciting chances to help grow and sustain the disc golf scene in Fort Collins and the rest of Northern Colorado! We hope you’ll consider joining us for the ride.

To be elgible for a director’s seat, your club membership must have been current as of Nov. 10th — the date voter registration closed for 2015. To indicate your intention to run, send an email to elections@nocodiscgolf.com with a short blurb (5-10 sentences) about why you’d be great for the leadership team and we’ll add you to the ballot.
This year the club is transitioning to a new leadership term format: we’ll continue with a seven-member board but now each elected director will serve for a two year term. No term limits apply at this time. In odd years, three board members will be up for election, in even years four seats will become available. So, for this year (2015) we’ll have a maximum of three seats open. Effective in 2016, elections will be held each September, with terms beginning and ending then as well.

Elections Info
Once again, this year we will be doing elections and voting on tag designs electronically, however the process will be a bit different. To be elgible to vote, you’ll need to have joined the club and have a valid email address on file with us before the end of the day Nov. 10th. After that date the “voter registration” rolls are frozen until the next election. Details for voting on tag designs for 2016 as well as open board of directors positions will be sent to that same address we have on file for you. Be sure you have received that confirmation email or you are not yet registered! (check your junk mail folder..)
As of today we have sent an email to all email addresses currently on the list, so if you didn’t get that email contact us right away with the email you want to have registered for voting. Send your preferred email address and your first and last name to elections@nocodiscgolf.com.
Voting for tag designs will commence Nov 11th and run through midnight on Nov. 14th.
