News from Friends and Around Town
North Gate Update
from John Reed
North Gate has moved to a full Thursday night league and ended putting league for the season. We expect our first tags to be in the next month.
The Lost and Found Mix n' Match was highly successful, and Maverick Robertson did a wonderful job maximizing the fun, as well as donations for the local humane society. It also went to building a privacy fence for the new porta-potty on hole 14 at Anheuser-Busch.
Be on the lookout for our first North Gate Tournament, as we will be releasing details soon!
As of about a week ago, the city says they expect to begin making changes at Edora "in the next few weeks". NoCo and others are working with the city to finalize the map of the layout and some other details. Expect work to continue through the summer. Maybe you'll start to see tee pads and freshly coated baskets out there soon!

A bit further south, the temporary 9-hole course, "Owl's Den", is going to become a permanent course! New concrete tee pads are expected and then a full 18 hole layout over the coming year or so. Check it out on UDisc here.
There exists more exciting news about courses in the coming months. If you want to learn about it sooner, or get involved with decision making, come to a monthly meeting (see below) or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information!
2022 NoCo Leagues, St. Patty's, and other events
The 2022 NoCo summer series leagues will begin Tuesday May 17th. A design for tags is being finalized and membership packs will be assembled and ready before then. Keep tuned for more information. Until then? Check out some other leagues listed below!

St. Patty's Meltdown 2022 was a great success! The event was slimmed down to a one day, two round event this year to be more in line with the reliability of the season. This proved effective.
Taking down Open was Joe Revere shooting a blistering 16 down. Special shoutout to local Tyler Trefethen for a 1021 rated round 2 and a third place finish! Full results available here.
